SERIOUSLY FUN EARTH:

EXPLORING SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH HANDS-ON CREATION AND CONNECTION WITH NATURE

Earth building uses natural materials like subsoil, sand, and straw to reduce reliance on non-renewable resources and minimize carbon footprint. It’s cost-effective and empowers people to build with their own hands, contributing to sustainable development. Soil handling in earth building is therapeutic and can reduce stress, anxiety, and promote relaxation and creativity. Terra hosts kids and community art workshops teaching this eco-friendly and traditional technique used by diverse cultures for millennia. Join us for a fun and green experience!

Marini’s interest in green architecture began when she was studying architecture in Italy. She became fascinated with the idea of building with natural materials such as earth, straw, and clay. After earning her Masters degree, she traveled the world studying traditional building techniques and sustainable design practices. She then moved to Melbourne, Victoria, where she continued to refine her skills and develop her unique approach to green architecture.
